The CommONEnergy Sustainable Building Challenge is a sustainability award for retrofitted shopping centers in Europe, aiming to identify, showcase, and disseminate best practices in the field.

All participants will be evaluated in order to select a shortlist of finalists for both the iper and super categories, and all finalists will be presented to the international audience of WSBE17 Hong Kong during the SBChallenge session.

Finalists and winners will be awarded during a high-level event in Brussels, September 7, 2017. The event will be split in two: a final conference presenting key project results and solutions during the afternoon, and the award ceremony, presenting and rewarding best cases and followed with a cocktail. The audience will range from EU and Member States policy-makers, to architects and retail industry stakeholders, all looking forward to hearing about innovative projects and sustainability actions in our EU shopping centres!
