AESOP / ACSP Joint Congress

The AESOP / ACSP Joint Congress takes place every five years and it is the meeting of the European based AESOP (The Association of European Schools of Planning) and the US based ACSP (The Association of Collegiate Schools of Planning). The Dublin Congress is taking place in UCD from 15th-19th July. The congress include plenary sessions, 16 tracks comprising paper presentations, panel and round table discussions, posters and Exhibition. The congress will debate the latest in planning and policy research and practice. On Wednesday afternoon, delegates will participate in 19 Mobile workshops visiting sites of planning action and inaction - including new town development, urban cultural and waterfront regeneration, edge city development, post recession urbanscapes, social housing renewal, heritage preservation, transport planning and city bike scheme.
